Lots of speculation, but no news. However, <a href="http://community.tvguide.com/thread.jspa?threadID=700017472">Michael Ausiello reports that the prospect is bleaker than ever</a>, &#8220;Talks to bring the show back for an eighth season have stalled, and according to several sources, there&#8217;s little hope for a turnaround.&#8221;</p> <p>Still, if this is the last season, at least Rory will get to meet Christiane Amanpour before it&#8217;s over.
