Hee hee. I know! Last

Hee hee. I know! Last weekend, my parents and I watched the first disc of season 1 together. And my dad began telling me what Rory needs after “The Deer Hunters,” and he decided that Sookie is his favorite character. Anyhow, he had a different perspective than what I’d heard before, but one that makes sense. So now I have to watch all the episodes again, with that possibility in mind.

I’ve gone through all the

I’ve gone through all the episodes 2 times & am working on my third. Everytime it looks like a different show. For awhile, I hated Jess for leaving. Then he came back in Season 6, so when I watch Season 3, I’m ok that he left because he will come back grown up & the only voice of reason when Rory flips out & I love him for that, plus I know that somewhere along the way he will develop supernatural powers & move to nbc.

Watching From the Beginning... Again

My mother wanted to borrow my season 1 DVD’s. And so I took them out. Now, I’ve seen these episodes over and over again. But looking at the DVD box, I thought, What they hey? And I put the first DVD in to watch. And I started seeing things in a new light.

I started seeing Luke in a different light, knowing that he was carrying Lorelai’s horoscope in his wallet. I saw Richard and Emily in a new light. In fact, all the characters seemed like different people than they are today. It was surreal, like I was watching a different show, one I’d never seen before but which I had seen a hundred times. I’m not sure I know how to explain it.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
