My one-line review: A show about a teenage boy, his superficial family, and an exchange student from Pakistan. Addressing through caricature real issues many of us would rather ignore, it sometimes feels like an after-school special (i.e., juvenile, not witty).</p> <p>And after the first two episodes, we still know practically nothing about Scott&#8217;s character, probably because there&#8217;s nothing there.
