I tried salt & pepper dip today with my fries. “It’s fast-food gospel.” First time, too. Just wanted to try it, on a whim. Like Sookie, I couldn’t leave it at that. I discovered two tips:
- Use fresh-ground pepper if you can. It’s a little more work, but you get that way-more-fresh pepper flavor.
- For a chili-fry dip, try throwing in a pinch of ground cumin and a dash (or two) of ground red cayenne pepper. (But keep a glass of milk handy!)
What are your thoughts on salt & pepper dip?
