Rory needs to take a physical education elective. So Emily finagles Richard into taking Rory to the country club to learn to golf.
Meanwhile, Lorelai prepares for a wedding between a pair of spoiled rich twin sisters and their fiances, who freakily happen to be twin brothers.
Neither Rory nor Richard is looking forward to the golf outing. But it gives them a chance to chat, without Emily and Lorelai. They end up enjoying themselves.
Rory carries this new relationship with her grandfather into her daily life, which makes Lorelai jealous. She acts out, picking a fight with Rory, even arguing over whose breasts are bigger.
