“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” is a popular Christmas song written by Meredith Wilson. Wilson is best known for writing the Broadway musical The Music Man, which premiered in 1957. (The film version was shot on the Warner Brothers outdoor set that Gilmore Girls now uses to represent Stars Hollow.) The song describes all the pleasant events that are present in the days before Christmas. When seeing these things, one knows that Christmas is only around the corner.
