GYPSY: You wanna kill the little romping Bambi’s?
TAYLOR: People, do I have to detail the problems that these deer cause?
LUKE: No, but you will.
TAYLOR: Lyme disease, auto accidents, plane accidents.
LUKE: We have flying deer?
MISS PATTY: Oh, that’s scary.
BABETTE: Yeah. Those ones you can snuff.
At another droning town meeting, Taylor holds up a huge picture of a garden that has apparently been attacked by deer. Immediately, Stars Hollow’s citizens recognize the picture as Taylor’s backyard. Taylor then proceeds to yak on and on about how deer are ruining the whole town. He explains that the deer are hazards to vehicles and pedestrians and air planes! Of course, Taylor meant that the deer might be in the way when a plane was landing, but Luke got sassy and replied, “We have flying deer?”
Ironically, stories do occasionally pop up about flying deer. And some of them are creepy.
