battleship? Is that even a board game? Hmm I would’ve thought monopoly would be the #1 game.
I don’t know if I’d consider Battleship a board game. That’s not the answer, though, according to my source. It begins with the letter “M” and features a funny little man in a top hat.

Monopoly is definitely the most popular board game, there are so many versions of the game, Monopoly NYC etc. I’ve even seen on some tv show a game board made of jewels gold and other metals that was in the tens of thousands. Being greek though I’d have to say my favorite board game is easily backgammon. I know its typical but it’s like a russian saying his favorite game is chess. I thought though Risk would have placed pretty high in most popular board game but it’s just a very popular classic.
