LANE: Wow.
RORY: And it smelled like bubble gum when it dried.
LANE: Oh, well, there’s no way Mark Twain could compete with that.
Earlier in the episode, the other students at Stars Hollow High were Rory started writing her essay on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. They were too busy doing their nails to work on the assignment.
