Gossip Communications News posted sides from The Return of Jezebel James. These are bits of the script used for readings or shooting. Anyhow, I read it, and here’s what I can tell you so far about Amy Sherman-Palladino’s new project:

• It reads like a cross between Gilmore Girls and Roseanne. No surprise there.
• The characters are great. No— Scratch that. They’re wonderful. But they’re nothing like any of the characters in Gilmore Girls or Roseanne.
• The dialogue moves fast fast fast!
• Witty! And dramatic! And funny! Again, no surprise there.
• I was rolling on the floor laughing, just reading the script.
• I am so anxious to see this show. I can’t wait.
• Amy Sherman-Palladino is a genius.
• If Fox screws this up, I may never forgive them.
