So what did you think of the last show? Sort of tied everything up (but rather hastily and superficially), and I was not ready to see it end.
Such a great show. I can’t imagine how people feel who have been with the show since day 1. I only discovered it last September and DVD’d my way thru the series.
I feel as if my friends have moved.
I look forward to the -isms starting with season one.
Recently I tried to remember which episode each “clip” came from on the opening credits. I know most of them, but I can’t pinpoint the one where Lorelai smoothes Rory’s hair. Can anyone help? Is it from the pilot or first few episodes? Maybe I coughed and missed it while I watched season 1 over.
Is it just you and me on this website???
)))
I didn’t even watch the rerun of the finale.
Is CW planning on showing the episodes? I know it is on the Family channel, but I don’t get that one.
Just watched “The 3rd Lorelai” … HAH! Marion Ross was so good as Trix!
It’s not just you and me. There are a few others. It’s still a very young site.
CW is showing “The Long Morrow” (episode 701) next Tuesday night. I don’t know what they’re doing the rest of the summer, but I expect they’ll repeat a bunch of the season 7 episodes.
Marion Ross: Yeah, and then when Trix dies, she plays Trix’s niece, Marilyn. They’re two completely different characters, and it’s so cool how she can do both convincingly.

Thanks for the info re: Tuesday episodes. Last Tuesday at 8 pm was weird, so I popped in another episode and watched it - the one about Max and the daisies. I always liked him and wondered why that character development didn’t continue or run as possible interference to the Luke vs Chris battle (and I never liked Digger …) Did the “Max” actor leave to pursue other options?
And then there’s Jess …. my finale would’ve included Jess making a return visit - just standing in the background just outside the tent would’ve been enough for me!
Scott Cohen, who played Max Medina… I’m not sure why he originally left GG. He’s been around, here and there. The latest big news is that he’s in Amy Sherman-Palladino’s new show The Return of Jezebel James, as Sarah’s boyfriend Marcus.

Hastily, Yeah.
So, I watched it again last night. As a finale, I still feel it was anticlimactic. For example, the next time you watch the early seasons, compare the last episode of season 3. That episode was also a finale, rather than a cliffhanger.
Starting with season 1: Yeah. I’m planning on starting again with the pilot episode. Maybe write about these episodes, too, especially in light of the later episodes. I wanted to have a couple more features of the site database set up before then, but even if not, I can still start.
