Just a quick note: In a recent press conference, Lauren Graham mentioned that she has two new movies coming up.
The first is called The Laws of Motion, an independent film, a dark comedy about a dysfunctional family. Lauren plays opposite Matthew Perry, who plays the lead character. His siblings come to town, cause lots of trouble, and he has to clean up the mess. Meanwhile, he struggles with a repressive home and professional life.
Then after that, she’s playing opposite Greg Kinnear in a film about the true story of Robert Kearns, the man who invented the intermittent windshield wiper. In the story, he sues the auto-makers for ripping off his invention. He fought on principle, for the rights of inventors. And won. (And he got lots of money, too.) Meanwhile, this fight strains his marriage. His wife Phyllis, played by Lauren Graham, has to deal with the fallout from his obsession, while raising their five children. The working title for this film is Flash of Genius, and there’s more information at ComingSoon.net.
By the way, Gossip Communications News also posted casting sides for Flash of Genius. These are pieces of the script auditioning actors use for readings.
