A quick item: In honor of Lauren Graham’s new deal with NBC, Entertainment Weekly is asking for ideas from fans on what kind of show she should be in.
And a bonus: Here’s an article from The Canadian Press on how Lauren Graham cried when she met the real-life heroes of her new movie, Flash of Genius.

Variety reports that Lauren Graham has signed a development deal with NBC. And here’s NBC’s official press release. And Kate over on her MSN blog has some funny ideas for a show Lauren can do. (But don’t go there unless you can laugh at yourself!)
And since we’re talking about development deals… Click to continue »
According to Variety, Dermot Mulroney has been cast in Flash of Genius, the film Lauren Graham is working on with Greg Kinnear. Dermot will play Robert Kearns’s best friend Gil, who owns a chain of auto-parts stores.

As I wrote on JezebelJames.info: Frankly, this proves that lesbians have better taste than Maxim readers.

Remember! Lauren Graham will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, tonight, Tuesday, June 12. It’s on NBC at 11:35 PM ET. Lauren will be talking about her new movie, Evan Almighty, which will be officially released June 22. Check your local listings for channel and time in your area.
Then right after Leno, switch over to CBS at 12:35 AM ET for the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, who will be interviewing Parker Posey, star of Amy Sherman-Palladino’s upcoming comedy, The Return of Jezebel James. But Parker will probably be talking about her new movie Broken English, which is also being released June 22.

Lauren Graham is scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Tuesday, June 12, on NBC, 11:35 PM ET. She’s the second guest, so she’ll probably come on about half-way through the show.
She’s then scheduled to appear again on NBC’s Today, early in the morning, the following Tuesday, June 19.
