It’s called Ticket to Ride. And it’s a coming-of-age comedy about a college grad, Ryden Malby (Alexis Bledel), who is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family while she attempts to find a job, a guy, and a direction for her life. The film will being shooting next month (in December), and I expect it in theaters sometime in 2009.
In the meantime, I’m looking forward The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants II, to be released August 8, 2008.

Variety reports that WB is looking to film a sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. The movie sequel is to be based on the fourth novel in the series, Forever in Blue.
It stars Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively. And the challenge is actually signing these four lead actresses, who each is involved in a TV series. If they all sign, the plan is to begin filming in Greece on June 3, a couple years after Luke and Lorelai were to have been married.
